I have worked with children full-time since I was 20 years old, and I currently work in the child care industry casually. During my childcare career I have cared for children aged 0-5. I have worked with children full-time since I was 20 years old, and I currently work in the child care industry casually. During my childcare career I have cared for children aged 0-5. In 2008 I travelled to London and was a full time nanny for three children for 12 months. I have no children of my own and I am single, as I am focusing on my career to become an early childhood teacher. I am studying my Bachelor for the next 2-3 years part time and have taken up babysitting to suit my financial needs. I have since worked with many ages ranging from 0-10 years in my last two years that I have been babysitting. I have had experience with children with additional needs over the years of my child care career, mainly children diagnosed with autism and ADHD but I have also cared for children with other disabilities. I hold a Diploma in Children's Services, have a current blue card and First Aid and I am available on most days, almost every evening and on weekends. I hold a full manual licence and own a 5 door well maintained Mazda.
I also have many resources that I bring with me such as books, felt stories and games and am happy to provide references of the families that I have babysat for. I am very confident and competent in interacting and engaging positively with children of all ages, including babies, preparing meals, cleaning up after children, and anything else that may be needed.
