To briefly introduce myself, I am a 23 year old female, studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science in Brisbane.

I have been doing casual babysitting work from the age of 13. I attended Somerville House, where I did afterschool volunteer work as a child care assistant from 2006 - 2008.

I have been doing casual babysitting work from the age of 13. I attended Somerville House, where I did afterschool volunteer work as a child care assistant from 2006 - 2008.

In my first 2 years of uni I nannied for a family for 2 years during the day. They had a 2 year old boy when I started and welcomed a baby girl into the family 1 year later. My role was to care for the boy and his little sister (4months +) two full days a week.

Previous to this, I spent 3 months in Paris as an au-pair looking after a 3 year old little girl named Tessie.

My previous nannying experiences have included me entertaining children whether that's inside playing games, doing craft or reading or perhaps on trips outside to visit libraries, shops or parks.

On a typical day with my last few part time childcare roles, I would drive the children to their sport and music classes amongst other things. I have supervised their school tasks such as homework and chores, taking care of cooking dinner and enforcing bedtimes. I am open to doing light household chores.

I find working with children a rewarding experience, and although there is much responsibility that comes with minding somebody else's kids, I find it a task that I love and that I believe I have the patience and personality traits for.

Now with a busier schedule, I am looking for casual babysitting any evening of the week or on the weekends.

In general, I would describe myself as a very caring and gentle person, with a 'glass half full' attitude towards life. I am very reliable and honest and understand the responsibility someone in my position takes on. I also am a very happy and fun person, and look forward to creating a friendly bond with your family!!

Note: I have a clean driving license, my own car and a blue card.
