Hello! I have 7 years experience working with kids in a daycare, as a Volleyball coach, tutoring and finally babysitting for 5 years.

Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am traveling in Australia on my Work and Holiday Visa, currently exploring the great city of Melbourne! I am originally from California where I spent 7 years working with children.

My first experience was when I was in college and I worked at a daycare center with children ages 6 months-12 years old. I realized that I not only loved working with kids but I was good at it too. I continued on to volunteer for a tutoring organization called Reading Partners, then I became a Volleyball Coach finally while traveling though South America last year I volunteered teaching at a school in Peru for 4 months. I also have been babysitting for the last 7 years.

I think I am good with kids because I am patient, kind, I think kids are funny (most of the time!) but most importantly, I listen to them and I treat them with respect. I think the greatest attribute children have is their honesty and sometimes brutal honesty!

I am looking to stay in Melbourne for a while--hopefully 6 months if I can find the right job. I am open to live in or live out, part-time or occasional help. Look forward to speaking with you!
