Hi! My name is Sophie. I have just completed my second year of Occupational Therapy and am looking for some casual childcare work over the summer. I have 4 years of experience nannying for families on a permanent part-time basis, caring for children aged 8 months to 10 years.

I am very health conscious, and am apt at cooking nutritious family meals that even the pickiest kids will love. I am happy to complete light cleaning during nap times. I have my own reliable vehicle and can provide evidence of current First Aid, CPR, Police Record and Working With Children checks.

During my work I regularly draw on my training in childhood development including attachment theory, sensory-motor activities, and behaviour management strategies. I am more than happy to work with children with disabilities. Most of all it is important to me that your children have fun and feel safe.
