My name is Julia and I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Education (Primary and Early Childhood) at RMIT. I'm also currently working for a lovely family in Kew, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons (3 girls - 4, 2, 0). I have been working with this family on and off over the past 2 years. I am looking for some additional hours with another family, to complement the position I already have.
Prior to this I was working with 2 boys (4 and 2), so I have a lot of experience with pre-school age children of both genders.
I love to take the children to play outside in the park, engage them in craft or cooking activities, read to them, or take them on excursions for various activities :)
My favourite thing about my job is being able to be a part of the special moments when a child learns a new skill or improves an area they found challenging. Seeing how proud they are and being proud myself is a great feeling.

My rate is $25-30/hr for any ongoing work and $30-40/hr for once-off babysitting (variance for number of children and weekday/weekend).
