Experienced German Au-Pair loves to take care of children
Dear Family,
my name is Ines, I am 31 and German. :-)
I spent the last years studying, but started my experience with children early while being in high school babysitting and then spending a year in the US as Au-Pair after graduating from high school.

my name is Ines, I am 31 and German. :-)
I spent the last years studying, but started my experience with children early while being in high school babysitting and then spending a year in the US as Au-Pair after graduating from high school.
In this one year I took care of 10 children in total, from the age of six month to 14 years. Due to my first families financial situation, they had six boys in the age of four to nine, I had to switch and then took care of two girls and one boy in the age of 11-14. In the meanwhile I was occasionally babysitting a half year old sweet little girl.
My main task in this time were dressing the little ones, changing diapers, playing with the bigger ones and entertaining them, preparing food, driving them to school and picking them up, planning their summer activities, sometimes staying with them over night all alone and also home-schooling them in some subjects.
I enjoyed that year very much and was delighted, when my nephew was born. He is turning six shortly and we have a really good connection. This is shown for example by the fact, that he still wants me to read a bed time story over Skype since we are traveling and he want an own globe for his birthday, so that he always knows where I am at. :-)
Right now I´m on WHV in Australia, but my partner is applying for a VISA shortly, so we will stay here long term. i would love to work again with children and hope that my introduction caught your attention.
Unfortunately lay my experiences with children far behind, so I can´t provide any more references then the Au-Pair confirmation and a policy check. But if you want to learn more about me, I have a blog since we are traveling: australiaforbeginners.wordpress.com and we did plenty of workaway, helpx and housesitting so we have good references there as well, which tells you something about my personality.
If you have any question, just ask away, give me a call, or just sent me your landline number as I can call for free over Skype.

What parents love about me
I am an out-going, flexible, patient, humorous girl, which never lost touch with her inner child, but is at the same time responsible, cautions and strict, when needed.
What kids love about me
Laughs, games and humour, as well as the love for nature and sports are part of my life. Next to that I enjoy making up new games, inventing stories and reading for the children.
What I love about this work
Children are wonderful little adults, who are full of energy, curiosity and usually questions. :-) I have been a child like this and enjoy answering questions and being part of their discovery trip of the world.
