I have worked as a nanny for two families in Zimbabwe. My first family consisted of 3 girls, aged 3, 6 and 8 where I worked for 9 months every day after school. My second family consisted of 2 boys, aged 5 and 9, and 1 girl aged 7. I worked for the second family for just over a year, most days after school. For both nanny jobs I collected the children from school, took them to afternoon activities, play dates, extra lessons and did homework with them. When the children were not busy with after hours activities, I kept them entertained by swimming, playing games, lots of running around the garden and just being a fun friend to them. I always ensured the children were bathed and ready for dinner. I have also worked as a teachers assistant in Zimbabwe, where I assisted in the "baby class". These children were generally between the ages of 2-3. My role was very diverse from driving the school bus, entertaining all the children before class, assisting with class activities, helping with feeding and potty training and being a general helper to the teacher.
I currently have 3 regular families. I do three mornings a week for a lovely family with 3 boys (6,8,11) as well as the odd baby-sitting on the weekend. They are expecting a little sister later this year however, mom is going on maternity leave in July. My second family consists of a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. I have previously done mornings for them however, mom is no longer working hence I now work two afternoons and one evening a week. They will be going away in the July school holidays. My final family is made up of two boys (5 & 6). For this family I stay the weekend at their house (just myself and the boys), going on lots of adventures. I also do one weekday night of babysitting a week.
I am looking for permanent part-time work as either a babysitter, nanny or mothers helper (as well as casual babysitting jobs) starting ASAP. I am also happy doing housework and cooking. My winter break from uni begins on the 21st of June until the 29th of July and I am hoping to fill my time in the holidays (and even before as we do not have classes) with volunteering and work.
I look forward to find a new family/families :)
I have a WWCC and a Police Clearance valid as of 14/12/2017. *Happy to do a day rate rather than p/h for permanent full days

What parents love about me
The fact that I am organised, punctual, flexible and take initiative.
What kids love about me
Kids love that I will pretty much do anything (within reason) with them to entertain them, whether it's playing 44 home, or monopoly, or playing tag at the park, baking or watching them do handstands in the pool or reading or colouring...the list goes on!
What I love about this work
When I study, I study in silence, I'm very focused and disciplined and am always trying to achieve set goals. I find that looking after children is a great "swap" from my daily routine of studying. Yes, of course it is a responsibility (that I take very seriously) to look after children, but looking after children is such an incredible job because it doesn't really feel like a job. Children are generally happy, full of energy, just wanting to have fun and I really enjoy being part of that.
My most favourite job I have ever had was when I au paired for my first family. It was for three young girls whose mom had passed away and the dad was unable to be there in the afternoons. So, these three incredible little girls became part of my life and even though I only worked for them for 9 months I have never had a more rewarding job.
