Hello, my name is Bianca and I am a full time university student studying at the university of Western Australia. I attended John 23rd college for my high school years and gained plenty of experience with working with children through completing the Vietnam Pilgrimage 2013. We worked with disabled children ranging from infants and toddlers to adults who had grown up in the orphanage and still needed round-the-clock care.

I attended John 23rd college for my high school years and gained plenty of experience with working with children through completing the Vietnam Pilgrimage 2013. We worked with disabled children ranging from infants and toddlers to adults who had grown up in the orphanage and still needed round-the-clock care.

Apart from this experience I have been employed by a couple of families during high school and holiday breaks to both house sit and look after children. I would be expected to play with the child during the day (anything from arts and crafts to playing in the pool and numerous games of hide and seek), pre-heat or cook any food that was set out for their meals and put the child to bed at night, this would of course include taking them to the bathroom and reading them a bedtime story.

I am a confident and outgoing person and am more than capable of cooking, cleaning and washing clothes as my parents are frequently traveling with their work and allow me independence to look after the house. I have had several part time jobs such as working at IGA City Beach, Bilby's Chargrilled Burgers, and Officeworks in Subiaco where I currently work (however currently they are unable to offer me any shifts due to my university restricted available hours)

Unfortunately, I am still on my L plates and cannot drive by myself yet. This would prevent me from any duties such as picking up children from school or taking them to sporting commitments. This also means I am restricted to families living in Mount Claremont and Claremont as I would either ride my bike or walk when needed. I will be getting my licence in August of this year.

As I am still fresh out of high school and it is my first year, I am still finding my feet in terms of work load and how much time I can sacrifice out of my study. At the moment I am available to babysit any day after school (after 3pm on weekdays) and on weekends.

My interest include horse riding and anything to do with animals, running and athletics, playing guitar and of course making a fool of myself in front of children to see a smile or hear a laugh. I am a definite foody and love eating healthy- my gym membership and fresh fruit and veg are very important to me!
