My name is Lily and I am a 19 year old local in Mildura. I love working with children and have had experience working with children in many different contexts.
I am a disability support worker in training and this job involves working with children with disabilities. My main role is to support them to be involved in engaging and meaningful activities which has provided me with experience that is invaluable for child care.

I have also been involved in volunteer roles including being a "buddy" southern cross kids camp. I act as a one-on-one mentor for children who have experienced either abuse or neglect and are in foster care because of it.
Both the roles mentioned have equipped me to deal with complex behaviours that children may express.
I am positive, patient and thoroughly enjoy engaging with children and seeing them reach their full potential.
