Rare hands-on live-in experience caring for infant twins. Playful, kind, mature and energetic. I wish to provide a pair of helping hands!
Hello Mums and Dads, I'm an Aunty to my beautiful 20-month old twin nieces who have taught me how much I have to offer children!, and this is why I wish to provide an added pair of helping hands to other parents in the best way I can!

Experience: I recently 'lived-in' with a family member and their twins/my nieces for a four month period. During this time, I provided daily hands-on care and support both on my own and with the help of the family nanny - who I gleaned much first-hand wisdom from, including her 20 years of nannying infants and young children.
The hands-on support I provided during my live-in involved....:
1. Leading the 'morning shift' (e.g., waking, nappy changing, dressing, preparing bottles and breakfast and feeding);
2. Getting the day started in alignment with the twins' routine ahead of the nanny arriving;
3. Providing support to the family nanny throughout the day;
4. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and bottles preparation;
5. Assistance with the evening routine and taking over on certain weekday/weekend evenings;
6. Caring for the twins on my own, including overnight;
7. Assistance with bathing the twins;
8. Settling the twins back to sleep;
9. Assistance with the twins' laundry and ensuring their room was tidy and prepped for nap time and sleep time;
10. And of course, playtime!, with a focus on intuitive interaction and playful learning! (I was also involved with the twins developmental milestones, such as learning to walk.)

What parents love about me
I am loving, patient, kind, hands-on and energetic!
I am also responsible, trustworthy and committed to practicing a safety-first approach at all times - my focus is always on the baby as my priority.
What kids love about me
Playful interactive learning and engagement!
My intention is to add quality and fun to a child's early life experiences.
I love reading my nieces stories - they often go and get one of their favourite Usborne books (e.g., That's Not My Unicorn/That's Not My Koala), hand it to me and we read it together.
I've also supported my nieces in feeling comfortable in the water during their first trips to the beach.
What I love about this work
I've found it to be extremely rewarding, especially at this stage of life where I am looking to provide more service-based work and in an area where I've had hands-on experience.
I also believe children have a lot to share and teach adults - so I am always paying attention!
