Hi parents and guardians! My name is Amandine Locke, I am 16 years old. I love music and reading. I have grown up babysitting, as I have 7 little cousins, and I have been professionally babysitting over the past two years. Along with this experience, I have regularly worked in a childcare centre on a voluntary basis for over a year, gaining more valuable experience in a sometimes-challenging environment. I have grown up babysitting, as I have 7 little cousins, and I have been professionally babysitting over the past two years. Along with this experience, I have regularly worked in a childcare centre on a voluntary basis for over a year, gaining more valuable experience in a sometimes-challenging environment. I am responsible and empathetic; I care a lot about others and want to help in any way I can. I will care for your children, engage them in activities and take them on outings to the park, library and other local places. I love kids and I am more than happy to do any activity with them like reading, drawing or playing. I also prepare meals, tidy and clean. I will follow all the guidelines you set while also having fun with your child. I have talked to many parents about what they look for in a babysitter, and one of the things I know is important is full engagement with the child, and not using screens or phones. I am fully committed to this. I am flexible with times through school terms and available full-time during school holidays.
I play piano, guitar and banjo. I am currently studying grade 7 in piano so would be able to help your child with piano or other music practice. I will be studying for my drivers' license later this year, but in the meantime I am an experienced user of public transport and I am very confident in my abilities to travel with kids using public transport. I am good at creating order and tidying up after children, and can make good simple food that kids enjoy. I'm a hard-worker and happy to help with any household task.

What parents love about me
Parents love my patience and kindness. They also like that I have a confident personality, and will jump into taking care of kids in any way I can. Parents like that I am responsible, put safety as my number one priority and go the extra mile for their kids.
What kids love about me
Kids love me because I am fun, enthusiastic and unafraid to play and be silly with them. I am always up for a game or for making funny faces, etc. I respect kids, so they respect me.
What I love about this work
I love kids. I love spending time with them, it is satisfying to provide comfort and fun when parents are away. It gives me an opportunity to apply my care and experience. I feel very much at home around kids, and enjoy going out with them to the park, library and other local places.
