Hi! My name is Indigo and I am a university student. I love working with children and have 12 months of experience as a nanny.

Hi, my name is Indigo, and I have just completed my VCE at Eltham College of Education, and am now studying a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University. I am studying Sociology, as well as majoring in French. I am passionate about young people and children and am capable of all types of care, such as caring, protecting, educating, entertaining, and co-ordinating. I am studying Sociology, as well as majoring in French. I am passionate about young people and children and am capable of all types of care, such as caring, protecting, educating, entertaining, and co-ordinating. My intermediate French-speaking skills may also provide some opportunity to improve a child's linguistic skills. I am an incredibly tidy and orderly person, and am open to contributing to, or completing other household duties, such as cleaning, (some) cooking, and organising. Additionally, I am someone that is very flexible, punctual and presentable, as well as friendly and enthusiastic. I enjoy hands-on care, and love to get involve and help children in fun activities and education, but am also happy to sit back and allow independent play when needed/ wanted. I am comfortable taking children out to playgrounds or for walks, and am experienced with sensory, education and age-appropriate activities. My experience includes being a nanny for children 1-4 years, and experience with newborns, as well as casual babysitting for children of all ages, across the years. I am comfortable with children of all ages, genders, and personalities. In terms of education, I have a lot of experience mentoring and tutoring children of primary and high school ages through numerous volunteer programs. Although work will need to fit around commitments to tertiary education, arrangements can be organised, and if anything comes up there will be plenty of notice beforehand. I am generally very flexible on the days that I am able to work.
