I take the time to comfort and help children work through their emotions when feeling overwhelmed/sad/angry, etc. I build strong and trusting relationships with children and work with families to understand their child's needs.

I have a natural connection with children and enjoy learning about children's interests and the jokes that they like to make! I love being outdoors and am not afraid to get muddy or rained on, so children who love the outdoors tend to be engaged in the experiences I can provide! I love to spend time reading with children and being present. And of most importance is the opportunities that children have to learn through play. I value this significantly!

I love building relationships with children and their families and helping children to reach their goals. I have a passion for guiding children through their learning to build independence and self-help skills. Children are capable of amazing things and I think the opportunity to learn through play, the outdoors and building social skills, assists them in building their confidence and being competent to try new things and challenge themselves.
