My name is Alexandra and I am a creative, enthusiastic, caring person. I love engaging with children and helping them grow and learn.

My name is Alexandra and I am a 22 year old Psychology graduate. I have had 2 years worth of experience babysitting and work experience at a day care centre. At my high school we also had a buddy system where a year 12 student would be paired with a kindergarten student that they would mentor. I found that this aspect of my school life taught me patience and the ability to tune in to a child's need. I also often helped my buddy with homework as well as arts and craft, music and reading. At my high school we also had a buddy system where a year 12 student would be paired with a kindergarten student that they would mentor. I found that this aspect of my school life taught me patience and the ability to tune in to a child's need. I also often helped my buddy with homework as well as arts and craft, music and reading. I enjoy helping children with their education and learning. I am looking for any casual work or permanent part-time work. I have my current first aid and resuscitation certificate, and am happy to obtain a police check, I also have my volunteer working with children check. I look forward to hearing from you. More recently I worked with a local organisation called Shine that is part of Illawarra City Women, where we went into local public schools each week and taught young girls about self love, self care and valuing themselves as women on this planet. It was a moving experience where we saw young girls change in their mindset and gain self belief. Seeing a child grow in positive thought and develop a greater understanding of who they are and what their worth is was a great reward.
