I would describe myself as a caring, bubbly, patient and compassionate individual. I have a lot of passion for the program I am in and the work I do and I strive to create meaningful, trusting relationships with people and try and surround myself with really good people. I have always had a passion for taking care and working with children, and have many years of experience with children aged 1yr-12yrs old. I have worked as a nanny while studying my undergrad back home in Canada and my experience also includes working with children with exceptionalities, cancer and mental health. I have a pretty good sense of humor and love bringing laughter to my practice and also knowing when to be more professional during more serious moments. I was a Ukrainian dancer for 13 years and also love to play baseball. Some of my hobbies include being very active, anything to do with creating art, singing, cooking/baking, writing, swimming and going to the gym.
I also have a vulnerable sector check from Canada but am willing to get the Australian WWCC. This is a very short description of my work experience, so please contact me if you wish to connect further!
Note: Fees are negotiated according to various factors including weekday/weekend, daytime/evening, number of children, age range of children, one-off/regular booking, last minute

What parents love about me
I have always valued my relationship with the child's parent(s) and working together with the parents to provide the best care to the child is incredibly important to me. Parents have appreciated my compassion when working with their children and also my warm, empathic demeanor.
What kids love about me
I have always believed that I need to meet kids with where they are at, so this may include dancing, playing sports, colouring, reading a book or singing. I am a very open minded person and have a great, bubbly sense of of humor!
What I love about this work
I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have always been a naturally empathic person, therefore I have always enjoyed caring for children! When working with my nanny family back home, I found my time with the kids brought great comfort during my time within my undergrad program and we all really enjoyed our time together. I have always enjoyed my conversations with kids and listening to their thoughts and ideas, they really are such intelligent and resilient individuals!
