He is about to become a big brother so there will be a New Born to help out with, however mum is working from home/ on maternity leave, and the Nanny will not be required to have sole care of the New Born. Our current Nanny has been with us for a year and is sadly moving elsewhere. The salary is negotiable, paid initially on a per hour basis with the potential to be a more permanent arrangement, and a Nanny car can be provided. Hours/Days are negotiable, particularly for the right person and there is the potential for the position to be up to 32 hours per week.
We are looking for someone who: 1) is wanting to commit to a position for a long term (at least a year) 2) is loving, warm, patient and confident with children and can form great relationships 3) enjoys playing with children and take initiative with fun activities such as play doh, train sets, painting, reading, drawing, playgrounds, walks, collecting flowers etc (i.e. not sitting in front of TV or on their mobile phone) 4) is a safe confident driver without history of licence suspensions etc 5) is available to travel interstate and overseas with the family on holidays and business trips (this is a must) approx 4 times per year (PAID) 6) is a Non Smoker
We want someone who is enthusiastic to fully engage with the toddler and who will not be on their mobile phone etc during work hours. The position involves food preparation for the children, light cleaning/tidying children's toys/areas, children's laundry and occasional dishwasher unloading (we have a cleaner) and occasional grocery shops for the household (list, car and money provided). The family run their own business and work from home offices on the grounds, so both parents are on site during the day as well as other employees in and out of the offices on the premises, so the Nanny needs to be prepared to work as part of the team in a busy environment. We view this position as a professional childcare position and the Nanny to be a crucial part of our team.
