Position is suitable for anyone with experience with children and families in homes, schools, and child care centres.
We are in search to train people to work with children with autism in the Northern Suburbs (around Tarneit) and Eastern Suburbs.
FREE training is provided in Applied Behaviour Analysis / Verbal Behaviour (VB) which includes workshops on Manding, Intensive Teaching, Natural Environment Training (NET), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Behavioural Strategies.
Once potential therapist demonstrates knowledge and acquires skills rapidly then a pay increase will be determined.
Therapist must: * PROFESSIONALISM IS A MUST o Punctual o Show up to scheduled appointments o Reply to emails promptly o Communication is key o Respectful of children, parents, professionals and colleagues. * Have a WWCC * Have a Police Check * Reliable Car * Be Willing to Work with More than One Family * Have Great Organization and Administrative Skills * Great with learners * Have Passion for Working with All Children * Have a great imagination * Most Importantly - Can Have Fun! * Mandatory Commitment of a Year
