Farming family looking for Aupair or Nanny to help with two year old son
We are the Michell family: parents Elizabeth and Edwin and our 2 year old son Clifford and 3 month old Adelaide. Elizabeth and Edwin live and work on a family owned sheep and cattle farm, 40 minutes east of Canberra. Their farm lies in the Primrose Valley and is surrounded by undulating hills, rivers and wildlife. Clifford is a bit over 2 years old and is a adventurous, happy boy who loves to play outdoors. Clifford is home 4 days a week with one days at Family Day Care to socialise with other children. He is loving new activities such as music, dance and climbing. He is very sociable and love to have an Au Pair to play with in his home and garden. Adelaide is currently being cared for by Elizabeth and is an adorable baby who sleeps well and smiles all the time.
Our ideal Au Pair will love caring for children and ideally have had experience with children the same age as Clifford. We need someone who is: - cool headed, positive and patient - Proactive and with loads of energy - Willing to help our around the house and garden in the same way as the rest of the family - Good communication skills - Able to follow our rules and accept feedback regarding the care of our child - Interested in outdoor activities, reading and music
You will be required to get Clifford ready for his day by helping make his breakfast, helping him brush his teeth and get dressed. Some days are planned to stay at home and enjoy playing in the garden and taking Clifford on walks throughout the farm. On other days we might take Clifford into town to visit attraction such as the zoo, parks and libraries.
