Working from home mum seeks nanny to help with childcare and light housework
We are a family living in Mylor in the Adelaide Hills. My husband (Brendan) works 12+ hours a day away from home.I am a midwife who works 10 hours a week from home (doing advisory/policy work). I would like to potentially increase my working hours in the next few months.

Our beautiful son (Stone) is 12 months old. He is a happy, playful boy. Plays independently well, but loves to get a laugh out of people. He can take a little while to warm up, but when he does he's full of cuddles and just wants to play. We have a parenting philosophy based on respect, positive discipline, healthy boundaries, and lots of silliness/fun. We employ Montessori elements in our home, and encourage Stone to take part in what we do. We also use cloth nappies as they are adorable and great for the planet.
We are looking for someone to spend one day a week with us, with the strong potential to build up to two. While I work from home I need someone to hang out with Stone, feed and prepare him snacks/meals, change nappies etc... I would still be home, and the one to put him down for his midday nap.
It would also be fantastic if you are willing to do a little bit of light housework. We love to make a mess, but always clean up before moving onto the next activity. So you would be expected to clean up dishes and any mess from lunch/snacks, tidy away toys during transitions, and fold cloth nappies if they need folding. To be honest I keep the house quite neat, so I find it's not much work to do things as you go.
We can be flexible in terms of which day(s) of the week, but our preference would be Mondays.
