As we work hard to build our business to create the perfect work/life balance our children do still require care, as our hours of work are often outside those of school. We love the outdoors, especially swimming, both children are creative and love drama! We also love animals and have 2 small dogs, a lizard, 2 chickens and a bee hive! Sunday is our dedicated family day and we love to go to the farmers markets or explore the beach. Our ideal carer would be kind, caring and patient - who will become part of our family as we grow as we see this as a long-term role until our children are in high-school. They would have some experience either in early education/primary education or past experience working with children in a learning environment. This is our first time looking for a Nanny and currently the children have been going to after school care 3 days a week and then being babysat by different carers most Saturdays. We are really looking for someone who is going to be around for a while and offer them consistency in care who will build a strong bond with them. We also currently have a house cleaner twice a week and are wanting to roll this service into our Nanny position to make a more financially stable and secure position for the right candidate. This would include changing bed sheets each week, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping; and general tidying - all of which can be done during the hours the children are at school. After school pick up, we would love the children do have some outdoor activity, either going to the park or playing at home; before looking to so some reading for school homework. Light meal prep occasionally required for weekdays. Saturday generally would be a 10-hour shift, and a planned outing would be preferred or planned activities during the day at home, full dinner/bath/bed routine required for this day.
Approx Hours: Monday 12:30pm - 5:30pm Wednesday 12:30pm - 5:30pm (can be either Monday or Wednesday doesn't have to be both) Thursday 12:30pm - 5:30pm Friday 12:30pm - 5:30pm - occasionally 3pm - 10pm Saturday 11:30am - 10:30pm (times may vary)
Required: WWC, driver's license and own reliable car. The right person will be employed and paid at least the legal minimum wage, including superannuation and penalty rates
