I currently have a nanny who comes Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am till 2:30pm. Starting in January I would like someone who is available 5 days a week with roughly the same hours (8:30am - 2:30pm). I will be returning to work and probably from 2-3 days at home and the remaining in the office. My now 4 year old is enrolled in pre-k on Monday and Wednesdays (2 days) and either me or my husband will do drop off/pickup.
On a side note, I am due with baby number 3 so extra hands will be needed especially when I give birth to help my husband with the kids.
A car and driving license is essential to allow you to have free movement with the kids - be it the activities they are enrolled in or ad-hoc outdoor adventures. Car seats can be provided.
Basic duties include: - preparation of healthy meals and snacks - Nappy changes - Toilet train (daughter as necessary) - Take kids to activities such as swimming and gym - Take kids out to parks, play centers and library - Education: as per age appropriate - Arts and crafts activities - Outdoor play in the backyard - Clean up around/after kids play area - Bath/shower kids on a regular basis - Swimming in our home pool during the hot summer (both kids love the water) - Love, nurture and develop the kids as appropriate - Read books /story time - At this stage both kids still nap so putting kids down for a nap would be required
These are just the things I can think of at the top of my head. Any one who takes on the role will be welcomed and treated like a family member, as you will be an integral part of the kids early life and growth.
