3 hours on Thursday afternoons in Forest Hill with our beautiful 5yo and 3yo boys
Hi everyone,
We are looking for help on Thursday afternoons to help care for our two sons aged 5y and 3y. The shifts are 3 hours. Plus occasional Saturday afternoon/evening work if you woud like extra hours.
Thursday - 3 hours between 3-7pm. Perhaps 3-6pm or 3:30-6:30pm, whatever would suit you.
I will be home as well. Both boys have Autism and we have a wonderful therapy team who help our family with the boy’s needs.

This position involves: - Emptying/loading the dishwasher - Cleaning the day’s used lunchboxes - Preparing the next day’s lunchboxes - Preparing dinner (it can be simple like meat and vegies). If you prefer not to prepare meals, I can do this. - Folding a load of the children’s washing - Supervising toilet visits for the 5yo. I will change the 3yo’s nappies. - Spending time with the children to build rapport.
We are accustomed to having carers and allied health professionals in our home, so the kitchen and children’s areas are labelled so it is easy to find items. I am familiar with providing orientation and as I will be here with you during shifts, it’s easy to ask questions and receive help. I will be helping as well with the children’s needs and nappy changes etc to make it a team effort each day.
We have a single story home with a back garden with play equipment and a sand pit. There is easy, free parking in our quiet street. We have a fortnightly cleaner on Mondays, so cleaning is not required for this role.
