Part-time ongoing babysitter required for Thursday & Friday mornings for 2y/o boy until May/June 2024.
I am a FT SAHM who works part-time from home and am looking for a babysitter for our 2y/o son for 2-3 hours Thurs & Fri mornings ongoing. Our son does take some time to warm up to new people, for that reason we are ideally looking for one person who can fill the role, rather than multiple babysitters to fill different shifts. Our son does take some time to warm up to new people, for that reason we are ideally looking for one person who can fill the role, rather than multiple babysitters to fill different shifts. Formal qualifications are not currently required, no EL needs required outside of general play-learning, though support and encouragement are expected when our son is learning new skills (e.g.: toilet training, ABCs). You will have a bubbly, but gentle personality, enjoy being active and creative with games and play. Most of the time I will be home during these shifts, but will be in the office, so whilst I will be available to assist with any needs, ideally you will be able to keep our son engaged and entertained through play and activities. He is an active boy who loves being outside and exploring, and we live close to parks, playgrounds, river paths and shops. Own transport is not required, though ideally you will be able to get yourself to and from shifts. We will arrange transport for any external activities (other playgrounds, playgroups etc) if required. I will prepare any meals etc. but am always open to suggestions and some snacks may be needed at your discretion, based on our son’s needs/cues. Hours: Currently up 6 hrs across Thur-Fri mornings. 8-11 or 9-12.
These hours would be required up until approx. May/June with further review leading into the new financial year and will discuss both ours and our babysitters' future needs/goals at the time.
