The role entails keeping the house clean and tidy and the family organised. For those not familiar with a Household Manager role, it is a mix between a housekeeper and personal/family assistant. The family has a regular cleaner who will manage the major cleaning tasks, the Household Manager role will include the following duties:

- Plan, shop, prepare, cook dinner for the family
- Washing, folding, ironing and putting away clothes/linen
- Vacuum/mop as required
- Kitchen tidied
- Beds made, linen changed as required
- Run errands as required
- Organising cupboards as needed
- Calendar maintentance for the children's extra cirricular activities
- Researching and booking family holidays
- Keeping across school notices

There is a component of this role that involves the children. These duties include:

- Collecting children from school as required
- Homework supervision
- Driving to activities

Children are:
- 14 year old boy in Year 8
- 12 year old girl in Year 7
- 8 year old boy in Year 3

For the most part, the children are very self-sufficient and you will mostly be involved with the 8 year old.

16 hours per week across 4 days, 2-6pm. $35 per hour + super. The family can be somewhat flexible on hours and pay rate for the right person.

You will need:

- WWC
- National Police Check (the family will pay for this)
- You own reliable vehicle (the family will pay car costs at the ATO cents per kilometre rate, currently 78c per km
- Experience in a similar role
- Long term comittment
